Product Description

Enerdrive B-TEC 125Ah Lithium Battery & Charger Bundle, 5 Year Warranty. The Enerdrive 125Ah lithium battery, when used in combination with a 40A DC-to-DC charger, is typically part of a setup commonly used in various applications, including off-grid power systems, recreational vehicles (RVs), boats, and other mobile power needs.

Understanding the synergy between your Enerdrive B-TEC 125Ah battery, a 40A DC2DC charger, and an AC charger is crucial for effectively managing your power system.

  • B-TEC 125Ah Lithium Battery: This battery is your primary energy storage unit, this 125 ampere-hour capacity battery supplies the electrical power necessary for operating your appliances and devices in various settings, such as an RV, boat, or other off-grid installations.
  • 40A DC2DC Charger: The DC-to-DC charger efficiently manages and transforms incoming DC power, derived from sources such as your vehicle's alternator or solar panels, into the precise voltage and current required for charging the battery. In this instance, it can deliver a maximum charging current of 40 amps when sourcing power from DC inputs.
  • 20A/40A AC Charger: Utilise the AC charger when you have access to an AC power source, such as when your vehicle or setup is linked to shore power or an external generator. This charger effectively transforms AC power into DC power, supplying a charging capacity of up to 20/40 amps to recharge the battery.

Bundle Includes:

  • EPL-125BT-12V - Enerdrive B-TEC 125Ah Lithium Battery
  • EN3DC40+ - Enerdrive 40A DC to DC Battery Charger

Optional AC Charger:

  • EN31220 - Enerdrive 20A AC Battery Charger
  • EN31240 - Enerdrive 40A AC Battery Charger

Here's how these components work together:

  • The 40A DC2DC charger takes charge of replenishing the lithium battery during travel or when solar panels are accessible, ensuring an efficient battery charging process.
  • The AC charger comes into play when you're linked to an AC power source, such as a campsite with electrical hookups or a marina with shore power. It provides a convenient method for recharging the battery when AC power becomes available.

The combination of both DC and AC charging options offers versatility in recharging your battery, catering to various scenarios. The DC charger is apt for charging on the move, while the AC charger proves valuable when you're stationary and connected to the grid.

This setup offers flexibility in recharging your battery, considering both your mobility and access to AC power sources. It's important to consult the manufacturer's recommendations and user manuals for each component to ensure proper installation and operation in your specific application.

Good service and quality product Review by
Prompt delivery for our major upgrade on an older Jayco caravan. The products came with excellent instruction manuals in clear English, with clear wiring diagrams. Currently part way through installation so not yet fully tested.

Quality Package Review by
Great product, easy to use app which quickly connects showing battery health and charge/discharge status. Charger was also impressive with easy setup and functional display. I will need more solar panels to get the charger up to it's max potential. (Disclaimer: Current Solar Panels already on vehicle on not purchased from My Generator)

Good stuff, I'm happy. Review by
All installed in the camper, works perfectly. Time will be the test, of course. The manuals were a bit of a letdown for a premium product - e.g. the inconsistency on the float voltage in the battery manual, and the lack of clarity about how to set up if you don't have an ignition sense wire in the DC2DC manual.

Great weight savings for a off-road touring set up. Well finished products, easy to install and easy to use. Built in Bluetooth battery monitor works well and reduces need for extra components.

Product Q&A

Ask Us a Question

  • Hi, just wondering if you are able to select which the charger will draw from first? Eg. Solar over alternator. If so will it still use the alternator if more is needed?

    Hi Isaac,

There are provisions to manually override the charging source from alternator to solar.

However Enerdrive state: If Manual Override Mode is used and left on there is a risk of flattening the start battery. The preferred method is to use the automatic override method by connecting the ignition source to the ignition terminal of the DC2DC+ charger.

  • HI, is the latest model that will charge up to 50amps?Cheers

    Hi Marc,

Yes this is the latest model from Enerdrive.

It does have the capabilities of charging up to 50A!

  • Warranty . Thanks Rob Beer

    Hi Rob,

The manufacturers warranty period for the Enerdrive 125aH lithium batteries is 2 years.

As of 2020, all Enerdrive products now comes with a 5 Year Warranty. Any products purchased since 1st of January 2020, Enerdrive retrospectively applying the new 5 year warranty period.

  • Can I connect the Enerdrive B-tec Lithium Batteries in Parallel or in series?

    Hi there,

You cannot connect any of the EnerdriveB-TEC batteries in series. You can however connect up to two only of the same size (ah) B-TEC batteries in Parallel. Enerdrive recommend that you only do this if you don't over load the max current of the internal BMS board from ONE OF THE BATTERIES.

Example. If you connect 2 x 200Ah B-TEC batteries then do not draw more than 200A of DC current from that battery bank, as one (1) single 200Ah B-TEC battery is only capable of handling 200A DC.

The main aim of connecting two (2) of the Enerdrive B-TEC batteries is not to increase your maximum DC current output, but to double your storage capacity.

Double the storage equals double the time you can stay powered up and off the grid.

Be sure to always consult the Enerdrive user manuals for correct cable sizing, fuse sizing and wiring diagrams.

We now sell an Enerdrive battery bundle with a parallel kit - please CLICK HERE to find it.

  • Do you have a package with Enerdrive ePOWER B-TEC 125Ah Lithium Battery & 40A DC2DC Charger Pack and 1000w inverter?

    Hi There,

At this time we do not currently have a bundle with the 125Ah battery and 1000W inverter, sorry.

  • I have a ctek 10 amp AC charger can I connect this to the input of the enerdrive DC to DC charger on a lithium battery set up?

    Hi There,

The input on the DC DC charger should come from yoru alternator, or starter battery.

We would not recommend connecting an AC charger to the input.

You can contact Enerdrive for further tech assistance on 1300 851 535

  • Can I use the dc2dc charger with a 600 watt wind turbine. I have a battery bank of 4 120 AH 12 volt batteries.

    Hi There,

This charger is not suitable for use with wind turbines sorry.

  • I have a Cub with a Projecta Smart charger. Can I replace my AGM battery with a lithium, and still run the same charger. I also run solar for charging. Will a swap work, or do i need to start again?

    Hi There

You can repalce your AGM with a lithium battery and keep the charger only if your charger is capable of charging lithium batteries.

Without a proper charger you will damage your battery.

  • I want to use a generator to run an Enerdrive Battery Charger like this - what is the recommended size generator?

Hi Tom – the most popular size generator to run a battery charger like the Enerdrive ePower series is a 1000 Watt generator, such as the Yamaha EF1000iS. It is lightweight, fuel efficient and very quiet.

Note that the Enerdrive ePower 60Amp Charger model will draw a max 1050 Watts of power, in which case you might want to look at a 2000 Watt generator if you want to get the full power of of your 60Amp charger. Alternatively, the ePower charger series have a Current Control feature, which allows the user to adjust the current output - so for example you can dial back at 60Amp charger to still run off a 1000 Watt generator :)

    Many thanks.
