Choosing a caravan toilet that suits your needs and preferences is more important than you make think. The last thing you want is to have to stop at a petrol station or McDonalds every time someone has to use the bathroom – that’s why we recommend a Cassette Toilet.
How Does A Cassette Toilet Work?
A cassette toilet is permanently installed in your caravan with a removable waste tank underneath. Then when the tank is full, you simply remove the tank via a service door and empty it into a dump point – easy as!
Dometic Or Thetford?
The hardest thing about choosing a cassette toilet is whether to choose a model from Dometic or Thetford. Both brands are market leaders, with extensive warranties and national service agent support. In fact, Thetford actually created the cassette toilet – awesome! We have no hesitation in recommending either brand in depends on personal preference. If you’re looking for a larger waste tank, the Thetford C223CS is one of the most popular models due to its 18L tank!
