This generator produces 4500-watt continuous power rating, and 5000-watt peak power rating at approximately 75db, which means that you will be able to power more electrical equipment than before and is the perfect power solution for the job site, or if you are just using it for backup power at home or office.
This easy to start generator boasts a 14.5-litre fuel tank that provides up to 15 hours of run time at 50% load or 8 hours at 100% load. It is electric start and is fitted with a 12-volt maintenance free lead acid battery, never run flat wheels and telescopic handles for easy transportation. It is equipped with 2 x 15 Amp 240 Volt IP66 and 1 x 32 Amp 240 Volt IP66 socket outlets.

What is the best practice for storing this generator?
Best practice will be to keep it out of the weather, utilising the new ac charging input to ensure the battery does not go flat. Draining the fuel when storing is also advisable.

Can I have this connected down the side of the house near the switchboard?
You can, however the unit will need to be dry and out of the weather. The unit will also need to be at least 1.5m from the house/building and any other equipment while operating.

We recommend running the generator once a month for 20-30min.

How do I start the MX6000ES generator?
This model features a keyed electric start, allowing easy and reliable ignition with the turn of a key. A backup recoil start is also included.

Does this generator support automatic start from a solar system or ATS?
No, the MX6000ES does not have 2-wire auto start capability. For integration with automatic start systems, consider the MaxWatt MX6000DAS.
