Here's how these components work together:

  • B-TEC 300Ah Lithium Battery: This serves as the cornerstone of your energy storage system, with a 300Ah capacity. It is the source of electrical energy for powering your appliances and devices, regardless of whether your application is an RV, boat, or another off-grid setup.
  • 40A DC2DC Charger: The DC-to-DC charger plays an important role in your setup. It regulates and transforms incoming DC power from various sources, such as your vehicle's alternator or solar panels, ensuring it's efficiently channeled to recharge the battery. With a capability of delivering a maximum charging current of 40A ~ 50A amps when sourcing power from DC sources, it guarantees the optimal charging performance.
  • 60A/100A AC Charger: The AC charger recharges the battery when you have access to an AC power source, such as when your vehicle or setup is connected to shore power or an external generator. This charger converts AC power into DC power and delivers up to 60/100 amps to recharge the battery.
  • Inverter: The Enerdrive pure sine wave inverter plays a vital role in your setup. It ensures that the power delivered to your appliances and devices is of the highest quality. The pure sine wave output guarantees clean, stable power, making it suitable for sensitive electronics, ensuring they operate without interference or damage. This inverter enables you to use standard AC-powered devices with confidence, enhancing the versatility of your energy system.
  • Battery Monitor: The Battery Monitor is a critical component that keeps you informed about the state of your battery. It provides real-time data on your battery's voltage, current, state of charge, and more. This monitoring system enables you to keep a close eye on your battery's health, ensuring you have a clear understanding of its performance and capacity. With this information, you can make informed decisions about your energy usage and recharging strategy.

Product Q&A

Ask Us a Question

  • Can I connect the Enerdrive B-tec Lithium Batteries in Parallel or in series?

    Hi there,

You cannot connect any of the EnerdriveB-TEC batteries in series. You can however connect up to two only of the same size (ah) B-TEC batteries in Parallel. Enerdrive recommend that you only do this if you don't over load the max current of the internal BMS board from ONE OF THE BATTERIES.

Example. If you connect 2 x 200Ah B-TEC batteries then do not draw more than 200A of DC current from that battery bank, as one (1) single 200Ah B-TEC battery is only capable of handling 200A DC.

The main aim of connecting two (2) of the Enerdrive B-TEC batteries is not to increase your maximum DC current output, but to double your storage capacity.

Double the storage equals double the time you can stay powered up and off the grid.

Be sure to always consult the Enerdrive user manuals for correct cable sizing, fuse sizing and wiring diagrams.

We now sell an Enerdrive battery bundle with a parallel kit - please CLICK HERE to find it.

  • With charge capabilities of 0°-45° does the btec battery have built in protection to stay within these perameters? Or does the Enerdrive dcdc40 charger have these protections built in to safeguard the battery?

    Hi There,

The BMS built in to the battery has over temperature protection.

It would be up to the user to make sure the battery is installed in an area where it should not be subject to temepratures under 0C and over 45C when being charged.

  • When putting Battery in its holding place, can i turn it on its side to slide it and then stand it upright

    Hi There,

The Enerdrive Lithium Batteries are required to be stood upright. Enerdrive do not recommend placing them on their side at all, sorry.
