The Enerdrive ePOWER 60A Battery Charger is a fully automatic, “set and forget” charger. It is designed to quickly and accurately recharge your batteries using algorithms that help maximise service life. Multistage smart charging technology enables the charger to be connected to your battery banks permanently.

As dictated by battery manufacturer’s recommendations, batteries require a multistage charge sequence for perfect, fast and accurate charging.

The Enerdrive ePOWER charger can be programmed for Lithium batteries. This setting delivers the full rated output of the charger constantly with the charger switching to power supply mode once the voltage peak is met (indicating a full battery bank).

60A Battery Charger Features:

  • Multistage Charging: Fully automatic multistage battery charger with the ability to charge 3 separate battery banks.
  • Separate Battery Banks: Isolated charging design where battery bank one is separate from battery bank two and three.
  • Programmable: Battery bank 1 can be programmed with a different charge algorithm over banks 2 and 3.
  • Current Control: User adjustable current output (e.g. Dial the 60amp unit back to run off a 1kVA generator).
  • Smart Charging: The ePOWER 60A battery charger will regulate its output based on the loads connected to your battery banks.
  • Wide AC Input Range: Operates on both 110V / 60Hz and 240V / 50Hz.
  • LED Display: Easy to use “set and select” menu along with scrolling charger status.
  • Silent Mode: Disables the cooling fan for total silent operation at night or whenever required. Activation reduces charge output by half and locks out fan for 12 hours.
  • Temperature Sensor: Battery temperature sensor included with 3 meter cable.
  • 5 Year Warranty from an Australian company renowned for customer support.

Works perfectly, easy to program, does exactly what I want. I have a stand alone solar system, 700a/h lead acid batteries. The Enerdrive epower 12V 60amp charger works perfectly from my 2kva Honda inverter generator.

Sprinter Van electronics. Review by
In the process of building a Touring Van built on a Mercedes Sprinter, after giving all consideration to the best built and price point I decided to go with Enerdrive products from MY Generator to produce and control my 12 volt power, after conversations with the team at Enerdrive and MYGenerator I purchased both the Enerdrive 60 amp Battery charger and the 40 amp + DC toDC charger both were on a Spring sale and my price was good, have yet to install but will comment when all up and running, am impressed with the quality so far.

  • What size battery charger do I need for my lead acid battery I have in my camper?

    A good battery charger rule of thumb for charging a lead acid battery, is using a charger with output current (amps) of 10-20% of the battery total stored capacity (Ah).

    So, for example if the battery is 12V 100Ah, the charger need to be minimum of 10A and maximum of 20A.  Often splitting the difference at 15% (so a 12V ~15A charger) is a good option. Happy charging!

  • I want to use a generator to run an Enerdrive Battery Charger like this - what is the recommended size generator?

    Hi Tom – the most popular size generator to run a battery charger like the Enerdrive ePower series is a 1000 Watt generator, such as the Yamaha EF1000iS. It is lightweight, fuel efficient and very quiet. 

    Note that the Enerdrive ePower 60Amp Charger model will draw a max 1050 Watts of power, in which case you might want to look at a 2000 Watt generator if you want to get the full power of of your 60Amp charger. Alternatively, the ePower charger series have a Current Control feature, which allows the user to adjust the current output - so for example you can dial back at 60Amp charger to still run off a 1000 Watt generator :)
