What Is The Difference Between Fuses and Breakers?

A circuit breaker is designed to cut the power if your electrical wiring has too much current flowing through it. This safety mechanism prevents fire or worse occurring. A breaker can be reset once it has interrupted a current flow.

A fuse on the other hand is unable to be reused. A fuse breaker features a conductive strip that will melt in the event of excessive current flow.
