The Cromtech Outback Inverter Generator 4.5kw is the perfect power source for your ‘home away from home’ while you are on the road camping, caravanning or in a motorhome. Also an excellent option for home power backup in the event of mains power outages.

This generator size hits the sweet spot for many domestic and recreational applications -> with 4500 watts it has significantly more power than many inverter generator models (that sit around 2000-3000watts) but remains impressively portable at under 40kg and with suitcase styled extendable handle for easy manoeuvrability.

The generator is great quality with plenty of features. It’s extremely quiet, super economical and runs a lot of appliances with ease. The only downside to this generator is that it does not have the capability to parallel additional generators.

Cromtech generator runs our A/C in the caravan and the other appliances with ease. It runs quite and good fuel economy. The generator will also be used as a back up for when we have a power outage on the farm. No more cold showers, and still be able to have a cuppa.

Great machine Review by Bob Morley

Replaced my Yamaha 2.4 because it wouldn’t run our coffee machine in the caravan. The 4.5 has the power and more. Runs the electric kettle and the toaster at the same time. One disappointing feature was that it will start remotely but needs to be unplugged at the machine to turn it off remotely. Will not remotely turn off if there is any load on it. Disappointing.

Hi there. I assume a genset of this size will comfortably run all modern rooftop caravan air conditioners?

That is correct. The Cromtech 4500 will run any caravan rooftop air conditioner on the market today.
Can two of these Generators be connected in parallel?

Hi- No these generator do not have a parallel feature
Q1. What is the approx. run time @ 50% and 75% load?Q2. I am assuming that 55 decibels is without load - What is the decibels at 50 % and 75% load?Thanks

Unfortunately Crommelins do not specify the exact information you require.

For run time they advise 4 to 12 hours depending on load.

Noise levels are noted as 55-60 db @ 7m.
the generator works also without the powerpack?

Without the powerpack/battery you will only be able to use the recoil start, but yes the generator can still be operated.
