A Robust Portable Power Station Battery Box for Diverse Applications
Exotronic Heavy Duty Battery Box is ingeniously designed to house up to a 35kg AGM/Gel or Lithium battery with fitting dimensions. Fabricated from durable ABS, this portable power station can accommodate a battery measuring up to 340 mm L x 192 mm W x 240 mm H.

Advanced Display and Control Features
This heavy-duty battery box features a light-up display that converts battery voltage into a state-of-charge value, ideal for lead-acid battery types such as AGM as well as temperature. Please note, however, that this state-of-charge monitor may not accurately reflect the status of lithium batteries due to their distinct state-of-charge/voltage relationship. Therefore, using a lithium battery with Bluetooth and/or adding a Victron SmartShunt is recommended.

Effortlessly manage power with the provided ON/OFF switch with keyed/removeable button, designed to disconnect the battery during periods of inactivity. The box comes equipped with auto-resetting circuit breakers on the cigarette sockets and Anderson connectors. A 175A Anderson connector, wired directly to the battery, facilitates jump-starting functionality.

Multiple Outlets for Varied Applications
The battery box has been upgraded to include a total of 8x 50A Anderson plugs (4x flush mounted rear Andersons, 4x side Andersons), a 175A Anderson plug for jump-starting, 3x 12V cigarette sockets, 2x 2.1A & 1x 2.4A USB sockets, and 1x QC3 USB Port. These multiple outlets allow you to power various devices simultaneously.

Charge the battery from various sources, including solar panels via a solar charge controller, by plugging it into one of the 50A Anderson-style ports. A large digital display ensures easy monitoring of the battery's charge status and voltage.

Safety:

LiFePO4 is one of the safest types of lithium batteries. This type of lithium has excellent safety in for almost every possible failure such as: Over-discharge, over-charge (to 20V), short-circuit, drop, heating, crush, nail penetration, seawater immersion, thermal cycling, low air pressure.
The casing is made from heavy duty ABS plastic.
The cells used in this battery contain rupture discs designed to release pressure in the cell if a failure occurs, preventing the risk of high pressure developing in the cell and compromising safety.
The most common cause of fire in lithium batteries is caused by over-charging. This is one of the functions the JBD BMS protect against.

Reliability:

Using A Grade prismatic aluminium cased LiFePO4 GFB cells.

GFB Lithium produces lithium cells trusted by many manufacturers such as BMW and Volkswagen.

1.2A Active Cell Balancer prevents the cells from out-of-balance events and extends the life of the battery by ensuring the cells wear evenly.

Parallel Connection:

Connect up to 4 batteries in parallel to increase capacity

Maintenance:
LiFePO4 batteries have no memory effect so are safe to be stored for long periods, only requiring a charge at least once every 3 months.

Lifespan:

These cells are designed to last 3,000 cycles at 100% discharge cycles. Typically 10-12 years usage in many applications.

On/Off/Reset Button:

Press the button in to turn on the battery
Depress the button to turn off the battery
Press the button twice to reset the battery after a trip, alternative connect a dark-start capable lithium charger

Bluetooth Smart:

The JBD BMS include Bluetooth, allowing real time viewing of the individual cell voltages, battery temperature, current, state of charge, state of the charge/discharge MOSFETs and alarms.
