Designed to charge your 4WD, RV and Marine batteries, this lightweight and compact blanket will produce up to 6.6A in optimal conditions. Designed with ease of use in mind, the simple plug and play Anderson plug connection is secure, safe and easy to connect.

The Baintech blanket comes with a smart 20amp 12/24v PWM with chemistry profiles for 3 types of batteries – sealed, GEL, and Flooded

Baintech Watt Meter and Power Analyzer:

Baintech Watt Meter and Power Analyzer, 2 year warranty. The Baintech watt meter allows you to closely monitor how much charge your solar panels are producing. Simple to connect: simply plug your regulated solar source to the ‘source’ side of the watt meter, and your battery/load to the ‘Load’ Anderson connector.

Once connected and power is flowing through, the watt mater will give you real time readings of:

Voltage (Volts/V)
Power (Watts/W)

Is this solar blanket OK to use with our lithium batteries?

Hi There,

There should be no reason why you could not use this blanket with lithium batteries, though the PWM that is supplied with the panel will not be suitable for charging the batteries.
Can you supply a regulator that supports lifpo4 lithium battery chemistry?

We can only supply the solar blanket with the included regulator sorry.
I am plugging into a BMS with a built in PVM. Can I buy only the blanket and save on the PVM and cables as I do not require them?

We can only supply the full package. We don't sell the blanket on it's own without cables etc.
What's the difference between Mono & Polycrystalline solar cells?

There's actually not a whole lot of difference when it comes to Caravan, RV and Camping applications to be honest. They are different cell types and are more relevant for home grid tied roof top.

You will read that poly are better in low light conditions and mono are more efficient. But for roof top caravan's the difference is negligible.

The most important thing is to get a well-constructed roof top panel from a quality brand and get the right sizing for your application.
