This petrol powered 3 Phase Powerlite Generator produces 7,000W of continuous power and has a maximum peak rating of 8kVA. Ideally used for portable electric tools, three phase machinery and has excellent motor staring and welder performance, provided that the total power consumption at any one time is less than 7,000W continuously.

Please note: the single phase outlet produces one third of the generator's power capacity.

Complete with a 3 year Honda engine warranty, 2 year Powerlite generator warranty and backed by a national service network.

Second time round I have bought this unit for the workshop. I got the other one back in 2002 and hasn't failed me yet. We usually run them at around 3000 to 3500w a few days a week with the larger fuel tank - Would certainly recommend this: won't give you any problems, just make sure it has enough oil

Are these Powerlite generators using legitimate Honda engines? Some cheap brands use Honda engine rip-offs.

Hi there – Most definitely yes. The Powerlite Petrol Generators use 100% authentic Honda engines purchased from Honda Australia. The engines come with a full 3 year commercial warranty, along with a 2 year generator warranty for frame, alternator etc. You can have the engine serviced or inspected by any approved Honda service agent around the country - there are more than 400 accredited service agents.

We are aware of some cheaper brands using imported "Honda" engines in generators and other power equipment which are not authentic engines from Honda Australia. We do not stock any products that use non-verified Honda engines. Powerlite have been manufacturing generators in Australia for over 50 years and are a leading brand for tradesmen, farmers, mining companies, and professional contractors requiring portable power.
In terms of warranty, where can I find details of service agents for Powerlite Generators?

Powerlite use premium grade components in all their generators. Starting with the engine, all of the engine manufacturers have national service agent and spare parts networks. The links below will help you with details of their respective service agents:

For their petrol range, Powerlite mostly use Honda engines from Honda Australia. The Honda service agent network is listed HERE.
