The Enerdrive | Dometic Journeyman has been specifically designed and engineered for ute tubs, providing everything you need to keep your gear powered whilst on the road or on the tracks! Featuring a 2000W Inverter and 40A+ DC2DC with MPPT to charge your battery whilst on the go, or from solar. The innovative design saves space and reduces install time and cabling.

Does this system allow solar?
The Enerdrive Journeyman does allow solar input, up to 800W at 45VOC.

Does cabling come included?
It does not unfortunately, as install to install will vary. You will need to run cable from the unit to the ute's starter battery and then separate cable to the second battery. In the accessories list you will find cable kits.

What size battery do I require with the Journeyman?
You will require at least a 200Ah lithium battery, as the inverter is rated to 2000W. In the accesories list, you will find the 200Ah Ultra.

Where is the best place to mount this unit?
The Enerdrive Journeyman is deigned for ute tubes. The unit is made to mount just before the wheel arch and specific brackets are to be purchased for each vehicle.

How can I access the breakers and fuses?
Enerdrive have designed this unit for easy use, locating the breakers and fuses at the side of the unit, with a flap to seal it closed.

I am wanting to run two separate panels, is this an option?
Yes, this unit has two dedicated solar inputs. One is at the rear of the unit, better suited to a fixed panel and the other at the front of the unit, perfect for portable panels. Ensure you do not exceed 800W at 45VOC.

What are the switches on the front used for?
The switches on the front of the unit are dedicated to your 12V loads.They are rated to 10A, making them ideal for fridge, lights and water pump.

Is there a way to monitor the battery?
It is recommmended to pair the Journeyman with the Enerdrive 200Ah Ultra, as it has inbuilt Bluetooth. You can then monitor your battery from the Enerdrive App.
