Introducing the new FreshJet RV air conditioner series. Featuring a streamlined design throughout the range, combined with superior cooling performance, optimised airflow, and the quietest operation yet. The Series 7 features the next generation of Dometic’s leading inverter technology, delivering the quietest and smoothest operation, perfect for off-grid applications.

Each model is designed to be compact and have a minimal footprint so you can utilise valuable rooftop real estate for solar panels and other needs. CleanAir ensures circulating air is fresh and clean thanks to the built-in air purification system. The new air distribution box (ADB) gives you complete control over the system, along with remote and full Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connectivity, cooling and heating is only a touch of a button away.

Excellent Product Review by Norman Turner

This product arrived by a friendly courier who delivered it undamaged. The cardboard packaging was strong and supported the item.. The instructions were written on A4 paper and easy to read and the diagrams assisted with the installation. The 4 securing bolts are 5 mm Hex head design so I had to purchase a 5 mm tool to use and they are not to be over tightened and recommend the use of a tension wrench to 25 neutron meters. The product installed without any problems it operated perfectly and I'm very pleased with it, and would recommend it to any person with some handyman qualifications.

Although the transport time was a little longer than expected, I put that down to the virus. I am in a very remote situation here and found it was very easy to install, with good instructions. Although it is a little heavy on battery power when it starts it soon drops back to manageable and I am very pleased with the quietness of it. The remote is a little ordinary in that it doesn't always send the commands and have to send again especially when changing temp. Altogether very pleased with the product and the customer service while I was researching the product. Kevin Little

Is the Freshjet 7 Series Lite smaller ini physical dimensions than the Harrier Lite?

Yes, the new 7 Series Lite is much smaller in length, and slighlty smaller in height
Will this replace my existing Air Con?

The Dometic Freshjet range utilises either a 360x360mm or 400x400mm cut out size, which will cover most existing Air Conditioners.
Would I need to use an air purifier in the van when this is installed?

No, the Dometic Freshjet range is the first of its kind to offer a inbuilt air purifier. This is called the ClearAir system, which will keep the van smelling fresh and clean while greatly reducing allergens, viruses, bacteria and pollutants.
Does the Freshjet have a WIFI or Bluetooth feature?

The Freshjet range offers WIFI and Bluetooth, meaning you will be able to operate your AC from your phone.
Does this AC come pre-gassed?

The Freshjet range will come pre-gassed ready for install. This latest range of Dometic AC's are using a more sustainable R32 refrigerant.
Do the new range of Freshjet have the same Air Distribution Box (ADB)?

Yes, the new Freshjet units have one ADB that is standard across the whole range
Where can I activate the sleep function?

The sleep function is only available when using the cooling or heating modes. Ensure you are in either one of these modes, then set your required temperature, press the moon button and the sleep function should be activated (the moon symbol will appear on the air distribution box display when it is activated).
How can I best optimise the performance of my roof-top air conditioner?
Hi there,

Here are some tips to best optimise the performance of your roof top air conditioner:
- Clean the filters of the air distribution box regularly.
- If your caravan has been sitting in direct sunlight for a long period of time, use the 'ventilation' mode with the windows open for a while before switching to the 'cooling' mode.
- Avoid opening doors and windows as much as possible when the air conditioner is running.
- Regularly remove leaves and dirt from the ventilation grilles of the roof top air conditioner. Make sure you do not damage the grilles in the process.

Will the Dometic Air Conditioners turn off when the desired temperature has been reached?

When the caravan has reached its set temperature, the compressor will turn off. The fan will remain on, circulating the cool air around the space. As soon as the thermostat detects the temperature has dropped, the compressor will start again to cool the area to the desired temperature.
