  Park your caravan in the shade and ensure it is well-insulated, deploy your awning to keep direct sunlight off the exterior panels, and use reflective window shades to block incoming solar heat.

• When should I turn on my air conditioner on a hot day?

  On hot days, start your cooling early by closing all blinds, windows, vents, and doors first thing in the morning. Turn the air conditioner on as soon as possible so it can easily maintain a comfortable environment. This prevents the unit from having to work twice as hard to cool down a space that has already heated up.
