How far away can I mount the digital wall controller?

The included digital wall controller can be mounted up to 5 metres away from the main unit using 2-core 18-gauge wiring.
Does the unit have an internal safety timer system?

Yes it does! The unit will automatically shut off and display an error code if the hot water runs continuously for longer than 20 minutes.
Can I install a mesh bug screen over the vent?

No. Bug screens block necessary airflow, which causes system fault codes (Error E8/E9) and voids your warranty.
How does it handle extremely cold water in winter?

When incoming water is below 7°C, the heater needs extra time to warm it up. To get hot water, slow the flow rate down by partially turning down your hot tap or adjusting the manual Water Control Valve on the back of the unit.
Does it have built-in freeze protection?

Yes. The thermostat turns the burner on at 3°C and off at 14°C. Requires active 12V power and LPG.
