• How slowly do I need to drive over the scales?

  The manual doesn't advise an exact speed, however it does need to be done slowly. If you are going too quick for the scales to register, it will show an icon of a jaguar on the screen.

• Can this be used to measure the weight of a dual axel caravan?

  Yes! It will work with both single and dual axel. You will need to select Mode 1 for single and Mode 2 for dual axel.

• How do I use this to weigh my vehicle?

  Caravan Weighing Instructions:

  1. Park on level ground.
  2. Set the scale 5-10 cm ahead of the target wheel in line with its path.
  3. Drive over the load sensor at a slow speed to get the measurement.
  4. Hit Mode to move to the next wheel. Repeat for every wheel, as well as the jockey wheel or tow ball weight.
  5. Press Sum to see your combined side weights or total weight.
• Does the 1500 kg limit apply to the whole caravan or per wheel?

  1,500 kg is the maximum load limit per single wheel/scale placement, not the total vehicle weight limit. For example, a twin-axle caravan weighing up to 6,000 kg total can be measured as long as no single tire exerts more than 1,500 kg on the scale.

• What surface can I use the scale on?

  You must use it on a hard, flat, level surface such as concrete, bitumen, or dense asphalt. Using on other types of surfaces such as grass or uneven ground can cause inaccurate measurements or damage the scales.

• What part of the scale do I drive over?

  Drive over the load-bearing pad area. Do not drive over the screen as this will damage it.

• Is this scale legally certified for official weight checks?

  No. This scale gives you a weight estimate within a 2.5% accuracy range. It's perfect for safely balancing your load and checking total weight at home before hitting the road. If you need an official or legally binding weight certificate, you'll need to visit a certified public weighbridge.

• Is it waterproof?

  It is IP44 rated, meaning it is splash-resistant against light water spray or dust. However, it cannot be submerged in water or left outdoors in wet/humid conditions for extended periods.
