Vitrifrigo DP2600 IX 12/24 230 Litre Stainless Steel 2 Door Fridge & Freezer, 2 Year Warranty. These 2-door refrigerators have huge capacity and feature large separate freezer compartments for long term storage of frozen foods. The DP2600iX, has a flush mount surround for ease of installation and also has the marine standard 'Nautic' catch system as standard equipment. The refrigerators with internal cooling units are easy to install because the cooling unit is mounted directly onto the refrigerator cabinet.

The Stainless Steel Series has been completely updated in both design and function. The stylish new square edge door design with the Steelock positive latch handle has the added functionality of a vent position for air circulation during periods of non-use preventing mould or bad odours in the fridge. The single section, stainless steel fitting frame allows the fridge to be securely fixed either with the door flush or proud of your furniture and has integrated vent slots to improve air flow and the efficiency of the cooling unit behind. AX models are equipped with a holding plate to maintain the temperature in the fridge for extended periods either over night or when there is limited power available.

Model DP2600iX is not available with the mobile mounting flange (door inside-door outside) but only with a single position (door outside or door inside) upon request.

This Vitro fridge has stainless steel doors & trims that are well suited for the marine environment. Popular for boats and yachts.

This fridge runs on 12 or 24 volt DC power. To run the fridge from 240 Volt mains power, you will need use a Power Adaptor (see Accessory List above)- these are popular for when AC mains power is available and you want to run 12 / 24 Volt DC applainces.

Can I hook this up directly to my Engel Fridge?

Hi Fi, it is recommended you use the solar panel to charge the battery, as opposed to running the fridge directly from the solar panel, as voltage will drop if clouds come overhead for instance. You can run the fridge direct from your solar panels if you wish, but using the battery means your refrigerator keeps running even if the voltage output of the solar panel drops severely due to cloud cover.

If you do choose to run your fridge directly from your solar panel, a 90 Watt Engel solar blanket can even run a portable 40 litre fridge direct from the panel, without the need for a battery. Thanks
