Gree Roof Top Slimline Air Conditioner 2.5 kW, 2 year warranty. NCE is the exclusive RV distributor of world class air conditioner specifically designed for use in RV’s and built for harsh Australian climates. Innovative, stylish, robust build, ultra low profile, and super quiet operation.

This 2.5kW Gree Air conditioner is perfect to fit smaller caravans where 3.0kW or higher RVAC’s are not suited or where large RV’s may require 2 units. It requires a lower KVA startup and running input, resulting in lower running costs. And for those who enjoy travelling off the grid, the low profile air conditioner features a low 1 Watt standby function, and will start and run on fan mode using only a 1kVA (1horse power) petrol generator.

A 3000W inverter should be able to run that air conditioner with no issues.
How can I best optimise the performance of my roof-top air conditioner?
Hi there,

Here are some tips to best optimise the performance of your roof top air conditioner:
- Clean the filters of the air distribution box regularly.
- If your caravan has been sitting in direct sunlight for a long period of time, use the 'ventilation' mode with the windows open for a while before switching to the 'cooling' mode.
- Avoid opening doors and windows as much as possible when the air conditioner is running.
- Regularly remove leaves and dirt from the ventilation grilles of the roof top air conditioner. Make sure you do not damage the grilles in the process.

Sorry we do not have an "Ah" rating for any of the air conditioners we sell.

These air conditioners run off mains power, not batteries.
What size generator do I need to run the Gree Roof Top Slimline Air Conditioner 2.5 kW?

We suggest a generator with a minimum of 2400W to run the Gree Roof Top Slimline Air Conditioner 2.5 kW. We recommend either the Cromtech 2400w Inverter Generator or the Yamaha 2400w Inverter Generator.
