Thick polyurethane refrigeration grade foam insulation makes Cool-Ice boxes designed for optimal performance / weight / volume balance.
Ice can last from 3 to 10 days depending on usage pattern, ambient temperature, type of ice used, and ratio of ice to goods being kept.

How can I increase the longevity of ice in my Dometic Icebox?
A few tips to keep ice for longer:
- Keep your icebox cool before use by keeping it in a cool area for a few hours. Using block ice inside the icebox will also increase the time the ice lasts.
- Ensure anything getting put in the icebox is cold beforehand.
- Try to keep the icebox as full as possible, as there will be less warm air getting into the icebox when it is opened.
- Try to avoid opening the icebox unnecessarily.

Can you please tell me the measurements (length, width, height) of both the 111 Litre and the 41 Litre Dometic Waeco Iceboxes. Am looking at Fish Box Cooler options. Thank you, Chris
Hi Chris, the manufacturer (Dometic) states the measurements and internal storage volume for both models as follows:
DOMETIC COOL-ICE WCI-42: 337 x 635 x 390 (HxWxD)mm | Storage Volume: 41 Litres
DOMETIC COOL-ICE WCI-110: 440 x 1050 x 510 (HxWxD)mm | Storage Volume: 111 Litres

Hello there, is this product suitable to keep food warm?
Hi Sam, an icebox is not designed to keep food warm. It is designed to keep ice frozen for as long as possible.
For warming, you could consider a Thermoelectric Cooler/Warmer product; many of these models have the capability to cool down to below around 20- 25 °C or heat to 55- 65 °C above the outside temperature.
These units will require electical power to run (either 240v or 12/24v).

What are the internal measurements of the of the 111L box please?

just wondering if the 111l ice box has dividers? Or if they are an optional extra?

The icebox does not come with a divider as standard, however they can be purchased separately.
