• Do I have to have a BBQARM to use the BQA-MATE?

  No, the BQA-MATE can stand-alone on the jockey wheel shaft or clamp to your existing BBQARM.

• Can the BQA-MATE also hold the weight of a portable BBQ?

  Yes, the BBQARM-MATE will hold the same weight the BBQARM does.

• How do I know what tray size I need?

  Great question! There are two sizes of the BBQArm trays – Regular or Large.

  The Regular is designed to fits BBQs as Weber Baby Q and Q2000. The regular size is 560mm x 360mm.

  While the Large tray is designed to fit larger BBQs as the Weber Family and Ziggy BBQs, with a size of 700mm x 500mm.

  So make sure to measure the BBQ you have to find out what tray will be best for you.

• How do I assembly my BBQArm Mate?

  The BBQArm Mate are designed to connect to your existing BBQArm. Please see below instructions on how to connect it to your existing BBQArm:

  1. Start with undo the bolts at the front of the clamp.
  2. After you have done that, you can wrap the clamp around the lower shaft/round tube section of your existing BBQArm arm and tighten the bolt all the way. Make sure to tighten with a shifter so that the arm is allowed to swivel but still tight enough to be secured.
  3. Next step is to place the tray on to the end of your arm.
  4. Make sure to tighten the wing-bolt to secure your tray.

  If you don’t have an existing BBQArm, you’re able to attach the BBQArm Mate to the shaft of your jockey wheel.

• What is the total capacity of the BBQArm Mate?

  The BBQArm Mate has a 20kg capacity. It is designed as a side table compared to the two BBQArm models. It is strong enough to carry a BBQ or a Gas burner.

• I'm thinking of buying a BBQArm Mate, but how heavy is it?

  The BBQArm Mate is 4.2kg in weight, this includes the arm, clamp and tray.

• What is the BBQArm Mate model designed for?

  The BBQArm Mate model is designed as an additional side table for the other BBQArm models - Caravan Mount & Vehicle Mount.

  The mate is a light-weight aluminium swing-arm, similar to the BBQArm models, just smaller.

• Do I need to remove the BBQArm/BBQArm-Mate from my caravan to drive?

  This is a great question!

  The arm and mount of the BBQArm is designed to stay on at all times. While the BBQ and tray is required to be packed away prior to travel.

• Can the BBQArm & BBQArm-Mate tolerate the Australian Climate?

  Yes they do. The BBQArm are designed for outdoor use in the Australian Conditions.
